In this video, we look at Jen's site, studioarcform.com, a lighting ecommerce store hosted on Shopify.
Here's a breakdown of what I found! 🤓
Technical:
✔️ Duplicate content across tagged pages
✔️ Add canonical code to prevent duplicate issues
✔️ Add /collections/ page to your menu for easier navigation
On page:
✔️ Create lots of category pages to target more specific keywords for lighting products (kitchen lights, black and gold wall lights, industrial lights etc)
✔️ Blog about industry-related questions and link to your category pages✍️
✔️ Identify the main keyword for your homepage and optimise for this
Off page:
✔️ Build more backlinks from relevant websites in your niche
User Experience:
✔️ Move the newsletter widget further down the homepage
